Rust plugins and VPS load

Oxide/uMod plugins add features, but every plugin also adds extra load on the server.

What to watch

• how many plugins are active
• whether there are heavy automated tasks
• how often plugins write to the disk
• whether add-ons conflict with each other

Good practice

Add plugins gradually and watch the resources after every bigger change. That way you will find out which add-on causes lag or instability.

For modded Rust servers it is always better to have spare RAM and fast storage.
